Golden Retriever VS Labrador Retriever

In the post I will talk about the difference between the Golden Retriever and the Labrador Retriever...

The Golden R has long hair as where the Labrador R has short hair, that is just one of the differences between the two breeds. Another difference is that the Labrador R comes in many other colors then the Golden Retriever. The Labrador R comes in three main colors, yellow, brown, and black. Golden Retrievers are said to be very sleek and graceful, as where Labrador Retrievers are said to be more stocky and muscular. Another different between the two is there tails. The Labrador R's tail is "flat shaped" (like a beaver tail) but the Golden R's tail is more "feather" like. Lastly Golden Retrievers are a little bit bigger then Labrador Retrievers. Labrador R's were first bred in Newfoundland and the Golden R was bred in Scotland! Golden Retrievers weigh around 65-80lb where the Labrador Retriever weighs around 65-75lb. Both of these breeds of dogs are great dogs to have as a pet!
